US media has been in a state of turmoil, again, after two major newspapers – the Washington Post and LA Times chose not to publish presidential endorsements at the eleventh hour. At the centre of the row are accusations that the powerful owners of these institutions stopped endorsements, fearing a Donald Trump backlash should he become president once again. Media and tech writer Mathew Ingram joined the show to discuss US election coverage, including these controversies.
