“Top Gun: Maverick” will land on Paramount+ on 22nd December, it was announced on Tuesday. On that date, the biggest hit of this year will be available on the streaming service in:
- United States
- United Kingdom
- Latin America
“Top Gun: Maverick” will become available in France and South Korea some time next year.
The arrival of Tom Cruise and co. finally adds a bit of real substance to Paramount+, a previously very unconvincing service. It is now the home of the third season of “The L Word: Generation Q” (seasons 1 and 2 were, and at the time of writing remain, on Sky Atlantic/Now TV in the UK,) to go alongside the content “Star Trek” franchise, “Yellowstone” and other shows from across the Paramount Global portfolio, which includes the likes of Comedy Central and MTV.
Furthermore, there are some Black Friday offers available, including a 50% discount in the UK. At $24.95/£34.95 for a year, it is quite tempting…
Talking of Black Friday offers, an annual subscription to The Addition newsletter is available with a 20% discount until 29th November. That’s £28 for a year to get full access to in-depth technology and media coverage.
