Normally, this newsletter is about broadcasting and, in particular, streaming. However, last week I headed out of London (I know!) to sunny Macclesfield (I KNOW!). I was attending the Magazine Mayday event hosted by Joanne Cummings and Peter Houston, who run Grub Street Journal, amongst other things.

As you can tell from the title, the group was there to discuss the future of one of my favourite media mediums – magazines. There are still dedicated lovers of magazines, but publishers are vying for attention and ad revenue against streaming and the creator economy.
