WSL
Chelsea vs Tottenham: Chelsea once again look unstoppable this season. Sonia Bompastor’s side are the only unbeaten team after five games in the WSL, although they have been held to back-to-back draws by Man Utd and FC Twente. Spurs look reborn under Martin Ho, and go into the weekend in third place. However, they still have not shown they can beat one of the “big four”, being smashed by Man City earlier this season. Can they make history and beat the Blues for the first time? The game kicks-off at 12pm BST, 7am EST on Sunday, 12th October. You can watch it on Sky Sports/NOW in the UK and on ESPN Select/FUBO in the US.
Arsenal vs Brighton: Arsenal have had a bit of a rocky start to the season. They lost dramatically to Man City and have drawn with Man Utd and Aston Villa in the WSL, whilst also suffering a home defeat at the hands of Lyon in the Champions League. Brighton were beaten by Spurs last time out, but were a bit unlucky not to get something from the match. The will prove a real challenge at the Emirates. The game kicks-off at 2.30pm BST, 9.30am EST on Sunday, 12th October. You can watch it FOR FREE on BBC 2/iPlayer in the UK and on ESPN Select.
NFL
New York Jets vs Denver Broncos: This may not be the best two teams, but it’s taking place in London at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. I’m going and am very excited for my first live NFL experience. Kick-off is at 2.30pm BST/9.30am ET. You can watch it FOR FREE on Channel 5 in the UK.
Not Sport
BBC 2 is having a night dedicated to Luciano Pavarotti on Saturday, 11th October. If that’s your thing, it begins at 8.40pm BST/3.40pm ET. On Sunday, BBC One is showing Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit. I’m not sure I approve, given it’s not Christmas, but it’s a classic film.
