Each month, I share some of the shows and movies I watch. It is not always the latest stuff as it’s impossible to keep up, plus I love dipping back into the archives. This month it’s a newcomer to Apple TV+ that has caught my eye.

The Completely Made-up Adventures of Dick Turpin
I mentioned I was watching this Apple TV+ series in last Friday’s newsletter. It stars Noel Fielding, of “Bake Off”/”Mighty Boosh”/”Buzzcoks” fame. I’ve was a huge fan of “The Mighty Boosh” and there is a distinct Booshiness about “The Completely Made-up Adventures of Dick Turpin”. It manages to avoid feeling like a parody though. The first three episodes are available now.
Scott Pilgrim
I loved the “Scott Pilgrim” movie and comic books so it is no surprise that I’m enjoying this Netflix animated series too. It is essentially the story you will be familiar with – Scott fighting off his crush’s evil exes. Michael Cera voices the title character too. However, the animation is nicely done and so it feels fresh and new.
