Turmoil Over Tortoise Observer Takeover

The Observer logo

It appears that the prospective sale of The Observer has not gone down well with current staffers. According to Press Gazette, there is the risk of industrial action from across The Guardian and Observer editorial staffs. The fascinating thing about this potential deal is it is so… analogue. According to Enders Analysis: “Observer revenues of £16.4m are overwhelmingly from newspaper sales and print advertising.”
