Apple Pauses ‘Silo’ Season Two Shoot Amidst Hollywood Strikes

Shooting of the second season of Apple TV+ show “Silo” has been paused indefinitely. The move comes in the wake of the writers and actors’ strikes taking place in Hollywood, Deadline reported. Production on Foundation season three may also be affected.

Production was taking place in the UK and it was always intended there would be a break. However, it looks like there is no longer an end date for that pause. There had not been any public comment from Apple at the time of writing.

The first season of the dystopian sci-fi show was generally well-received. Ahead of the season finale, Apple made the opening episode of the show available for free via Twitter. We discussed the show on a recent episode of “TV+ Talk”.

Season two of “Foundation” is available on Apple TV+ now.
