The show follows a group of three best friends, Jane, Kat and Sutton, and their friends as they navigate their way through the world of glossy mags and New York. We have career ups and downs. Love and heartbreak. Plenty of jealousy-inducing outfits (and some suspect ones too.) Think “Sex and the City” if the main characters were all millennials/Gen Z and worked at Teen Vogue.
I’d watched the first four seasons across Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, but could not find the fifth and final season anywhere in the UK. Happily, it’s all now available thanks to the BBC. You can watch it here.
I really like “The Bold Type” – it makes for great escape TV – and I’m rather sad it has come to an end. Worst of all, season five is only six episodes long. Dangerously bingeable! If you have not started yet, there are 56 episodes to enjoy.
