The Podcast Show London is fast becoming an essential date in the industry diary. I’ve been for the last two years and it is telling how many people come from across the world, notably the US, to spend to days in a business centre in Islington. Last week there was a huge range of big-name speakers, from James Corden to Gabby Logan and Mark Chapman and swathes of execs.
Of course, on day one, election fever struck. The various political panels I attended took on a new dimension, with both speakers and attendees waiting to see if a vote would be called. Some, it appears, were better prepared than others.
